Dr. Barry Collins received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He subsequently completed his medical education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, followed by an internship and residency in internal medicine.
Dr. Collins is a member of the National Medical Association, the American Medical Association and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama - MASA. He is also a Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity member.
Dr. Collins is very active in the community and serves on several boards and committees. He currently serves as Chief of Medicine at St. Vincent's St. Clair Hospital where he also resides on the Advisory Board. He is an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and he also serves on the board of the Police Foundation of Pell City. Dr. Collins is actively involved in clinical research and serves as Medical Director for various clinical trials. He serves as a speaker for several pharmaceutical companies.
During his free time, Dr. Collins enjoys watching football and riding motorcycles. Dr. Collins looks forward to the opportunity to serve you.
