PCIFM Important Notice: Patient Appointment Scheduling Effective October 1, 2024
PCIFM Important Notice: Patient Appointment Scheduling Effective October 1, 2024
- Appointment Scheduling: Patients can schedule appointments via phone, in-person, or the patient portal. Our Medical Assistants (MAs) will confirm appointments and document confirmations. They will inform patients about rescheduling, cancellation, and no-show policies during this process.
- Cancellation Policy: Patients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Missing a confirmed appointment or failing to cancel with proper notice incurs a $25 no-show fee. For Monday appointments, notice must be given by Friday of the previous week.
- Late Arrivals: Patients must arrive within 15 minutes of their appointment. Late arrivals over 15 minutes may require rescheduling based on the provider’s discretion and schedule. Patients can notify PCIFM if they anticipate being late.
- Patient Status: Established patients who haven’t been seen in over three years must re-establish as new patients. Staff must verify patients fall under this policy based on visit types. Acute/sick visits do not count toward established patient status, and missing subsequent established appointments means they won’t be seen until the visit is completed.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation regarding our appointment scheduling policies. Your adherence helps us provide better service for all our patients.
